The Joint Sessions of Workshops is a unique platform for political science scholars worldwide to come together for several days of intense discussion, feedback and collaboration.

The ECPR Joint Sessions of Workshops bring together political scientists with shared interests to develop their research in an intimate, focused setting.

This unique, closed-group format facilitates intensive discussions, deep collaboration, and rigorous peer feedback. By offering a trusted global platform to refine ideas, the Joint Sessions play a vital role in building networks and supporting the publication of high-impact work.

Each Workshop is a closed forum accommodating 15–20 Papers over several days. Each participant presents their Paper which is then thoroughly reviewed and discussed by the group.

Key dates and deadlines:

December 10 – Paper proposals close.

January 16 – Funding Applications open.

February 2 – Deadline for Funding Applications.
